Burden of drug use disorders among adolescents in Ethiopia
Drug use disorder is a disease that affects a person's brain and behavior and leads to an inability to control the use of a legal or illegal drug or medicine.
Drug use disorder causes disability, mental illnesses, loss of productivity, and death, especially in young people.
Only few fragmented drug use disorder studies done in the country.
The aim of this study is to investigate the prevalence, death, years lived with disability, and years of life adjusted for disability of drug use disorder among adolescent in Ethiopia.
