Evaluating health facility distribution in Ethiopia
Inequity in health facility distribution may mask the development impacts of investments in health to achieve universal health
coverage by the year 2030.
The aims of this study are: 1) to identify geographical areas where the health facility density is lower than the minimum standard (i.e.,
20 health posts, 4 health centers, 1 primary hospital, 0.07 general hospital, and 0.02 referal hospital per 100, 000 population), and 2)
to determine the number of health facilities within 5km, 5-10km, and >10km distance/radius from health centers in Ethiopia,
