    • The purpose of this Guideline is to present the Metadata Standard of the database, Database organizational plan, Data Archival process, data security, and procedure for sharing data to a third party which is organized by the National Health Data Management Center of EPHI.

    • The purpose of this guideline is to ensure that EPHI maintains a comprehensive and systematic data storage mechanism and consistently provides data to its partners for appropriate public health purposes.

  • Data Analysis
    • This document will provide an example of exploratory data analysis in the R programming language by taking data of changes in fertility over time in each of the 11 Ethiopian regions, using Demographic Health Survey (DHS) data collected by the Ethiopian Central Statistical Agency (CSA)

    • The purpose of this document is it to become familiar with some of the methods used to analyze and explore spatial data in the R programming language. It will cover some of the basic types of spatial data, how to make summary plots and maps to inspect the spatial data. It will then walk through some examples of exploratory data analysis from the DHS on HIV prevalence by different subnational regions in Ethiopia.

    • This guide will give an overview of the first steps one should take when analyzing micro data, how one can tabulate different kinds of variables, how to run a simple regression to describe risk factor exposure trends by education or income, and how to visualize these results.

  • This is a framework for internal data access from EPHI, IT server by NDMC authorized person. And the main objective is to ensure NDMC have full access to data’s on EPHI server to effectively execute its intended goals and responsibilities delegated by the institute.

  • This document will provide information about criteria for data ownership, data owner’s general procedures and responsibilities and authorship.

  • This document describes about data security, digital data security procedures, data protection, data retention and destroying data within National Data Management Center (NDMC) at EPHI

  • This agreement establishes the terms and conditions under which the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) share data for the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH)

  • This collaboration is aiming to maximize opportunities for NDMC located at EPHI and HDSS located in the Universities on research capacity building, research funding, data access and sharing, identifying research priorities and dissemination of findings to inform national and subnational health policy in Ethiopia.
