- In Ethiopia implementation of NPI has shown variation overtime depending on the level of threat the pandemic has to the health and socio-economy of the people.
- Scenario based Mathematical model has been used in this evidence brief to capture the impact of Face Mask (FM) & Social Distancing (SD) on COVID 19 infections, hospitalization, ICU requirement and death.
- The scenarios implemented in this brief are made to reflect the ground reality focusing on current implemented and/or proposed national NPI policies.
